SCULPTURE BY TERRY L. H. SLADE

"VESSELS"

Cast Iron Gallery – NYC  /  February 1997

We float with life like the phases of the moon, searching for our personal "Sea of Tranquility."  Our world is reflected in our surroundings, and our surroundings reflect ourselves. The natural world sustains us but we abuse it. We are uncomfortable with the thought that nature holds the answers and that the answers might be so close at hand. As time moves forward, we ignore the past and sometimes forget the present, while dreaming of the future. We are here now.
