SCULPTURE BY TERRY L. H. SLADE

ENGLAND, FALL 1998--STEEL-BRONZE-GLASS

The following are examples of the sculptural work I produced while at DeMontfort University in Leicester, England. I had taken a few cast bronze pieces with me and added some of them to steel structures, into which glass was blown. The result was a series of walking, seed-like forms that anticipate growth if only they could find the right environment.  These ideas are a continuation of my interest in the human relationship with nature.
