SCULPTURE BY TERRY L. H. SLADE

"C’est la vie" a mixed media installation, 1999

We arrive at one level and we are rewarded. On the same level another ladder compels us to continue the journey. Sometimes the ladder goes down and sometimes it stays in the same place or goes off on some tangent. But we take the steps on the ladders rungs anyway. We have no choice. Life is a journey. We do, therefore we are.
