I found the lifeline/outline quite similar to my own experience in dealing with my scars. Presented with a considerable disfigurement I had to find ways of "healing" the wound. My exceptional physical recovery left only my peace of mind to rehabilitate. As I am sure, there are many that find it more difficult treating their mental anguish than their physical ailment. For this project I chose to neglect including any family photos, photos of friends, or myself. I was strong throughout my experience and thought it best to be self-reliant for as much of the endeavor as possible. The photos I selected represent a part of who I am, my life experiences, and my attitude toward life in general. My scar represents my second opportunity at life and shows that I was willing to accept the opportunity. The pictures I decided to include on my project depict my attitude toward life. Live it. Attack it. There will always be enough time and life for every moment.
